ANNUAL ESSAY COMPETITION HELD AT INDEPENDENCE GRAMMAR SCHOOL, ONDO ON THE 27^TH OF MARCH, 2023.

The competition was held on the 15^th of March, 2023 at St. Helen’s Unity Secondary School, Ondo among students of St. James Catholic Grammar School, Ondo, CAC Grammar School, Ondo and the Host St. Helen’s Unity Secondary School, Ondo. A total number of eight (8) schools took part in the competition and the objectives of the competition are:

• To stir the confidence in the students.
• To help them embrace competitiveness.
• To challenge them to work on their debating skills.

The twenty-eight students were awarded an academic session scholarship and given educational materials that will cover the whole of 2023/2024 academic session school work while the best three were given cash prizes for a job well done.
