The Sponsor a Child Initiative (SAC Initiative) is a pivotal project led by the Gbenga Fawehinmi Foundation aimed at tackling the issue of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Our primary goal is to provide vital support to children who face the risk of dropping out due to socio-economic challenges, while also nurturing talented and dedicated students who aspire to excel academically.

Since our establishment in 2016, Gbenga Fawehinmi Foundation has been deeply committed to several key initiatives:

1. Education and Mentorship: We prioritize mentoring, educating, and empowering children with essential life skills that foster personal growth and       development.
2. Research and Monitoring: We continually monitor school enrollments and track the rates of out-of-school children in Nigeria, enabling us to                identify critical issues and develop targeted interventions.
3. Advocacy and Advisory Services: We engage with schools, organizations, and parents to advocate for children’s education rights and offer                  informed guidance on educational matters.

At the core of our vision is the belief that every child, regardless of background, deserves access to quality education. Our mission is threefold: to mentor children, address their immediate needs, and support initiatives that promote affordable and accessible education for all.

Our specific objectives align closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education for all. These objectives include:

1. Ensuring all children, especially girls and boys, complete free, equitable, and quality primary and secondary education.
